The vertical lines in between your eyebrows and above your nose that appear when you frown or squint can leave lasting wrinkles even when your face is at rest. In some people these lines form deep furrows and can make them look angry or upset all the time. Botox Cosmetic treatments can relax the muscles that create these lines. If Botox treatments are used early enough, the lasting frown lines can be prevented. If they are too deeply etched though, Juvéderm can supplement the Botox treatments to fill in the wrinkles.

Juvéderm can be used to correct a number of under eye problems: Lower eyelid wrinkles, dark circles, sunken eyes and bags. Usually either a depressed curve that forms between the bag and cheek is the problem or a sunken area under the eye that creates a dark circle. To correct, Juvederm is used to fill in this tear trough below the lower eyelid to provide a more natural contour between the two.

Crow’s feet or smile lines are the lines that fan out from the outer corners of the eyes, and can arc downward over the cheek bone and even down onto the lower cheeks. These are caused by smiling and squinting in combination with loss of facial volume or collagen.
Our first line of defense for crow’s feet is to use Botox Cosmetic to relax the muscles that cause these lines. (Don’t worry: You’ll still be able to smile!) Over time, Botox treatments may erase the etching of these lines completely. With deeper lines, Juvéderm may be used to fill in the wrinkles or Fraxel laser can be used to resurface the skin and help build collagen.

As we age, our brows and upper eyelids start to droop and sag, sometimes to the point of hooding the eyes. There are some nonsurgical ways to lift the eyebrow. Botox Cosmetic can be used to relax the depressor muscles between and on either side of the eyebrows. Relaxing these muscles that are pulling down on the brows allow the muscles pulling up to win the tug of war, raising the brow. Juvéderm can also be used to plump up tissue along the brow bone, and sometimes the forehead and temples, which then pulls the skin of the eyelid taut, raising the brow and reducing the appearance of upper eyelid wrinkles. We also offer Ultherapy treatments for the forehead and temples which uses ultrasound technology to stimulate collagen production, firming and tightening the skin, resulting in a brow lift.
I want to compliment you and your staff for the caring manner in which I was treated. You and your staff were genuinely concerned that I was comfortable and informed about the procedure I had. Each one of your staff members took the time to know my name, ask if I understood the medical procedure, explain what they were going to do and then answer any questions I had.
